Under Phase 2 of the Low Carbon Buildings Programme, grants for the installation of microgeneration technologies are available to public sector and not for profit organisations, including local authorities, housing associations, hospitals, schools, universities and colleges, libraries and registered charities.

Framework suppliers have been appointed to oversee the supply and installation of microgeneration technologies under Phase 2 of the Low Carbon Buildings Programme. Dimplex is an appointed Framework Supplier of ground source heat pumps. In order to qualify for a grant, applicants are required to source products from one or more of these suppliers.

Funding within the supported microgeneration technologies is allocated within the total £50m in the following way:
